We began meeting for public worship on January 8th, 2012. You are warmly invited to join us for our services. Whether or not you consider yourself a Christian, we welcome you to wrestle with the claims of Christianity by exploring our Christian community as we gather together to worship God, hear him speak to us through the Bible, share our hopes and burdens with him in prayer, feast with him in The Lord's Supper, and joyfully fellowship with God and one another. Perhaps you have never been to church (or not in a long time) and fear that you won't know what to do, how to act, or what to say. Be assured: Christ Church is for people just like you, and we've tried to see to the details that will help you easily participate with us when you visit.
Worship Services:
When – Worship Services are held weekly on Sunday evenings, from 5 pm until approximately 6:30 pm.
Where – Our gracious hosts are the good people of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Clinton Hill, located at 279 Lafayette Ave (corner of St. James Place). Enter the building from the side entrance on St James. You can follow our signs on the sidewalk, and if you're late just press the buzzer on the door to gain entrance. One of our greeters will welcome you and hand you our easy-to-follow worship bulletin. A map is below. We are a few feet from the Clinton-Washington G, three blocks from the Clinton-Washington A/C, and near numerous bus lines.

Families – Children are warmly welcomed to our entire service. To help parents, however, we offer trained nursery care for children 3-and-under during the entire service. We also offer a "children's church" during the sermon when children ages 4-12 can gather in another room to learn songs and Bible stories at an age-appropriate level.
We know that the timing of our service may be challenging for families with young children, so immediately after the service we also provide a light, homemade, and healthy dinner for kids with a brief craft-time, so that parents can freely partake of the other homemade goodies for adults while making some new friends.
